Dawn Stahlberg, M.Ed.

Dawn earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Oregon. She has over 38 years of experience serving individuals and families in a range of capacities.

  • As a Special Education Teacher, Dawn assisted families in identifying goals and developed programs to help her students achieve those goals.

  • As a Behavioral Consultant, Dawn worked closely with families and school teams to help the individual learn positive, functional skills to replace challenging behaviors.

  • As an Autism Specialist, Dawn traveled throughout the state of Oregon, helping to identify autistic students, provide trainings for teachers and offer support for family members.

  • Working with a multi-disciplinary team at Easter Seals in Arkansas as an Educational Consultant, Dawn provided professional development and consultation throughout the state.

  • As Director of an agency she founded, Dawn provided consultation and trainings to schools, support to families and direct services to autistic individuals. She led a parent support group for 10 years and designed and directed a summer social camp that ran for 7 years. The camp focused on socialization, self-awareness and advocacy, and sensory processing.
